Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 3/4 cup cooking sherry
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded to 1/4” thick

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and oregano. Coat chicken pieces in mixture and set aside.
  2. In large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat. Cook chicken until lightly brown.
  3. Add mushrooms, sherry, and marsala.
  4. Cover skillet and simmer until checken is fully cooked.
  5. Thicken sauce with water/cornstarch
