Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 3/4 cup cooking sherry
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded to 1/4” thick
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and oregano. Coat chicken pieces in mixture and set aside.
- In large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat. Cook chicken until lightly brown.
- Add mushrooms, sherry, and marsala.
- Cover skillet and simmer until checken is fully cooked.
- Thicken sauce with water/cornstarch
