Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup green onions
  • 1/4 cup green pepper
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzerella cheese

Serve with garlic bread and salad.

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Stir with spaghetti sauce; turn to low.
  2. Cook noodles. While noodles are cooking, preheat oven to 350°.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, green peppers, and green onions.
  4. In a baking dish, spread half of the noodles over the bottom. Top the noodles with half of the meat sauce. Top with half of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle with mozzerella.
  5. Repeat the layers. Sprinkle mozzerella and parmesan over the top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
