Ingredients

  • 3 – 4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 c beef broth
  • 1/2 c balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves minced garlic

Directions

  1. Place beef in slow cooker. Combine other ingredients in a mixing bowl and pour over the beef.
  2. Cook on high 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. (Optional) Reduce the drippings in a saucepan to concentrate the flavor. Shred the roast and let sit overnight in the juices before storing in the fridge.
